How does a website make money?

How does Micheal make loads of money with blogging when he is banned from Google adsense, I also see no ad’s on his blog so it must all be from affiliate then but I also see him not promoting any products apart for his ones. Surely he doesn’t get all his money from just his ebooks

    I guess that means I’m doing a good job at monetizing my website if you can’t work out how I’m doing it.

    Firstly, I do have one good advertiser who places an ad on my site for a large sum every month. I do this to diversify my income, this means I’m not reliant on any one technique.

    Secondly, my affiliate links are usually found in guides I publish on this blog. For example, I show you how to make money with email marketing and I will promote Aweber as a great email autoresponder service, but when you buy it, I make a commission.

    Thirdly, yes, I promote my only products.

    I’ve got to the point with my online business where I get to choose to make less from IncomeDiary because other sites make me money. I do this because my main goal right now is to provide value, not make a load of cash by selling out like other sites.
